When playboy businessman Jonas Faraday receives a private note from the anonymous intake agent assigned to process his online application to an exclusive club, he becomes obsessed with finding her and giving her the satisfaction she claims has always eluded her, in order to fulfill his own desperate need for redemption.

Sarah: “When I read Jonas Faraday’s brutally honest personal message on his application to The Club—I practically climaxed at my desk. I’m an idiot to risk losing my job but I couldn’t resist contacting him. I knew my confession would be like dangling an irresistible carrot in front of his nose—but never in a million years did I think he’d actually hunt me down.”

Jonas: “I was shocked to get my intake agent’s email—I’d attached that note to my application on a whim, never expecting a reply from an actual person, let alone a reply as mind blowing as that. Her message was so alluring, so irresistible, I’ve been spiraling into a full-blown obsession ever since I got it. What’s her name? What does she look like? Finding her is my top priority.”

In The Club, what starts out as an innocent exploration of attraction quickly spirals into a steamy story of unbridled passion, obsession, heartbreak, and, ultimately, redemption.

Michelle's Review

Jonas is a millionaire and decides on a whim and his brother’s insistence to join “The Club.” Jonas is a playboy by nature so he figures, what the heck. He’s bored with the women he’s been meeting lately and the ones he does meet want “more” from him. He just wants a “wham bam thank you ma’am” kind of woman. So Mr. Ego decides to read over his online questions to become a member of The Club. The things that he writes down was downright funny and so arrogant.

Enter Sarah. She’s a law student and has a part-time job as an intake advisor for The Club. When Sarah stumbles upon Jonas’ application, she is both irritated and aroused by this man. She felt the way I did, what an asshole but hot damn he sounds sexy too. Sarah is so fucking fascinated that she throws caution to the wind and decides to email Jonas.

Jonas is besides himself after reading Sarah’s note to him. So much so that it becomes an obsession to find this woman. Sarah, too does some unorthodox things to see Jonas after setting him up with his first “date”. These two OMG.

Oh these two finally meet. After Jonas finally meets Sarah, he could care less about The Club. Sarah has permanently ingrained herself into his mind, body and soul. Sarah cannot believe that she somehow snagged this hot, sexy millionaire. (Yup some self esteem issues).

The banter between these two, quite amusing. But, of course, they learn some things surrounding “The Club.” Things that can potentially go very wrong!

Yes, it ends a cliffhanger. Hello, it’s a trilogy.

I really enjoyed reading this book. It had a really good plot flow, funny moments, and some hot sexy times. I understand this is Ms. Rowe’s first book, so like many others, I am looking forward to the next book in the series.
