There once was a boy, and I loved him.Logan Francis Silverstone and I were complete opposites. I danced, and he stood still. He was quiet, while I ran my mouth. He struggled to find a smile, and I refused to frown.
The night I saw the darkness that truly lived inside of him, I couldn’t look away.
We were broken together, yet somehow whole. We were wrong together, but always right. We were the stars that burned across the night sky, searching for a wish, praying for better tomorrows.
Until the day I lost him. He threw us away with one hasty decision–a decision that changed us forever.
There once was a boy, and I loved him.
And for a few breaths, a few whispers, a few moments, I think he loved me, too.

Opposites.
Friends.
Lovers.
Misunderstanding.
Heartache.
Second chances.
Alyssa and Logan or Lo, are complete opposites. They come from extremely different backgrounds.
Alyssa has wealth. Logan does not.
Alyssa has the world at her feet.
Logan does not.
You get the idea.
These differences bring them together to become friends. They found that the one thing that their vastly different worlds had in common were their unloving parents.
A bond is formed. Each relying on the other.
This bond had the toe of each of them on the line of more than friendly feelings. An attraction grew. Don’t blame them either they are both lookers! It got to the point where it couldn’t be held back anymore. *cue the music*
Unfortunately a misunderstanding lead to massive heartache for each.
Each going separate ways.
Don’t worry I screamed at my kindle.
As fate would have it they are brought back together again.
As my signature way: not gonna spill these beans!
I loved how both worlds collided and made complete sense for these two.
Each brought something unique to the friendship. Neither were judged. It also showed how one thing can make people end any type of relationship and the heartache it can cause. The confusion. The hurt. The emptiness. I know I have had this happen and it’s just a sad thing cause you feel a part of you is lost. Things happen for reasons and fate likes to just jump on in and have a grand ol’ time. Sometimes for good and sometimes for bad. The story was just truly relate-able on so many levels. I wasn’t rolling my eyes thinking “oh this is just ridiculous.” My eyes were glued to the pages thinking “oh this is getting good!”
Brittainy has such a wonderful way of taking any scenario and making you hold on to each page until the next. You get so invested without even realizing. Then you are done and you have read such an amazing story.
Her stories are so authentic and mesmerizing. She gives you Highs and Los and it is glorious.
