Tahoe Roth.
Irreverent, cocky, playful and naughty.
He’s not the guy you date.
He’s the one night stand.
The one your mother warned you about.
The one your body craves.

You’d think the man who called me succulent would want to strip me down and spread me out on his bed—like he’s done with countless others.

But he passed on my offer….

Just like I’d once passed on his.

He’s wary, like I am.

He’s broken, like I am.

And everyone knows two broken parts can’t ever make a whole.

Tahoe and I are strictly friends.

So I distract myself with other men.

He doesn’t think my new man is good enough. This blond blue-eyed beast doesn’t think any man is—himself included.

But the more time we spend together, the more confused I feel.
I’m trying to open myself to love.

Yet I’m quickly realizing that the only man I want is Tahoe Roth.
The one man who will surely break my heart.

A sexy new Manwhore series standalone contemporary romance from New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Katy Evans.

Michelle's Review

If you read Manwhore 1 and 2, you already know who Tahoe Roth is, right?  Don’t worry, Ladies Man can be read as a standalone, but why would you, you get to meet this beastily man beforehand.  Before I start talking about him, let’s talk about Gina instead for a bit.  She’s Rachel’s best friend (from Manwhore) and if you read the previous books, you know there was some serious flirting going between Tahoe and Gina.  Gina is now getting her bearings, since Rachel has now married the most eligible bachelor in Chicago, Malcolm Saint.  Her other best friend, Wynn, was suppose to be her new roommate, but she’s instead moving in with her boyfriend.  Gina wants what her friends have, a stable loving relationship.  She has had a crappy past with ex-boyfriends so it has made her not really seeking a relationship.  Having said that, she has seriously attracted to Tahoe.

What I like:
Well hello, Tahoe!  I couldn’t wait to read what was up with him.  Tahoe is a big flirt and Ladies Man, true to his moniker.  I had a feeling there was more substance to Tahoe than  his playboy ways.  I did appreciate how true he was with Gina, he kept it real with her all the time.  Both Gina and Tahoe have remained friendly, especially since their best friends are married.   Yet, he is so sweet with Gina.

Gina, starts dating Trent, and I wasn’t a fan of his, at all.  I felt she was dating him for all the wrong reasons.  I was getting a little nervous with her indecisiveness, but she made the right decision later on.

What I didn’t like:
To me I felt like the storyline was almost like the storyline from Manwhore, especially with Tahoe’s flirting and the back and forth of sexual tension with Gina and Tahoe.  I was maybe looking for a different prelude to their romance.  Then again, it wouldn’t be called Ladies Man, I guess.

Katy Evans  did write a wonderful book.  It was a very slow burn people.  You could cut the sexual tension with a knife!  When they finally “get it on” it was worth the wait, that’s for sure.  Holy flying sparks!  I may have seen fireworks in my head.  As much as you may not want to like Tahoe, you really will like him.  I love a man with honesty and he had it in spades.  “You need a guy who will always be there for you.  One who will never let you down.”  There isn’t a cliffhanger, so don’t start sharpening knives.  But, we will be getting Callum’s book in 2017.

If you were a fan of Manwhore 1 and 2 and want to know what the sexy Tahoe Roth, then pick up Ladies Man.  You will be swooning over him.
