Author: Sawyer Bennett @BennettBooks
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Length: 368 pages
Rating: 4 stars

Release Date: January 5, 2016

Cain Bonham is as big and bad as they come. After serving in the Marines, he’s returned home to Wyoming and now works as head of security at the exclusive sex club, The Wicked Horse. His job is to protect not only the patrons, but to zealously guard the secret existence of the club itself.

Sloane Preston is all about discovering secrets. As an undercover reporter, she’s determined to reveal the truth behind the facade of The Wicked Horse and expose it for all the world to see. She just didn’t count on her pathway into the club coming at the hands of one gorgeously scarred and bad ass bouncer who manages to easily possess her body and soul.

While Cain’s not looking for anyone to catch his eye, Sloane did it all the same, and he’s not bemoaning the fact that she’s as wickedly kinky as he is. As both get caught up in the sinful fantasies that only The Wicked Horse can create, secrets and loyalties will be tested and hearts will risk being broken.

**Warning: this book has sex in it. Lots of sex. Dirty sex. The Wicked Horse Series is a bit different than what Sawyer Bennett normally writes. While you’ll still enjoy fabulous characters, a suspenseful story, some witty banter and an epic romance, there’s just… a lot of sex. You’ve been warned.

Grace Review
I’m pretty sure I said this with the first book in the series, but his is definitely the hottest series from the author that I’ve read (see note in synopsis). I guess that’s expected with a sex club, right?

We got a sneak peak of this book at the end of Wicked Fall, so you know how involved Cain is in the erotic side of the Wicked Horse business, aka The Silo. In this story, an outsider is looking to learn more about the secret world after an anonymous tip is given to her magazine.

I’m not a fan of reporters and the steps they take for a story. So, despite Sloane’s innocent act, I wasn’t an immediate fan. I had a feeling she was heading down a bad path, and despite understanding her need for vengeance, I didn’t like her using the people I’ve come to like, in order to get that vengeance.

Her plan to get into The Silo seemed a bit weak, but lucky for her, the plan slowly comes to fruition. Although not fast enough for her dickhead boss. Cain is intrigued by her innocence and wants to see how far he can push her. I was surprised of Sloane’s willingness to give up her body to pleasure, all for the news story. But once she admits her personal fantasy to Cain, and he helps to deliver that fantasy, I knew she’d moved beyond the story, even though she didn’t admit it to herself.

“I better come hard like you promised or there will be hell to pay for what I went through today.”

Yes, this book has butt plugs, rape fantasies, a mini orgy, and anal. Told ya it was hot. And despite the physical attraction they had with one another, there was something else building.
However, as Cain and Sloane get closer day by day, it was interesting how they each saw an end date to their “relationship.”

I’m being an utterly hopeless fool who just happened to fail for the right girl at the wrong time.

When that end day comes, how Sloane fights to hold onto it. Cain being a guy, and not always listening before reacting, makes a stupid decision with some harsh words. Thankfully we have Bridger to set him straight.

Since book one, I’ve wanted Bridger’s story. But I think we’ll have to wait some more. Looks like Rand is up next, and given who he helps out at the end of this story, I have a feeling this series will only get hotter.
