It’s not cocky when you’ve got the goods to back it up.

Lust-maker. Pleasure giver. Fantasy creator. I can blow your mind in five seconds flat — but trust me, you’ll want this to last all night.

There’s not a woman in the city who can resist me. Except one.

Now she’s got a proposition: Seven days. Every position. No strings attached.

She wants to know what she’s been missing.

Who am I to say no?

Michelle's Review

I have finally come around to reading J.D. Hawkins debut novel Insatiable.  I must say I was not disappointed.  And if you ladies are living under a rock or haven’t realized it yet, J.D. is a man.  If you’re on Facebook, you should friend request him and see all his “selfies” he posts daily (it’s a running joke which you will get).

Sex on stick Jax Wilder, he’s gorgeous, built, cocky and arrogant but not in a way that will piss you off.  He’s hot and he knows it and owns it.  He’s very successful in his business as an architect.  He wears a suit like no one’s business and can have any woman he wants.  Well that’s until he meets Lizzie Tipton that is.  My girl Lizzie wasn’t immune to his charms, but she was with her then boyfriend Brody, upon meeting the sexy Jax at a club.

Jax always gets what he wants, and he wants Lizzie, well lo and behold she see Jax again and is newly single.  Lizzie makes the ultimate proposition to Jax, 7 days, no strings attached, sex anytime, anywhere and in every orifice.  Yeah, I had to go there.  And who’s to say anything can go wrong with an arrangement like that one that she’s proposing, right?  Challenge accepted.

Mr. Hawkins wrote some steamy, sexy and erotic sexy times.  Yeah, I would suggest you read these parts in the privacy of your home if you like to one hold your device, if you know what I mean 😉  For this being Mr. Hawkins’ debut novel, he really did a good job with the plot and execution of the story.  Now some of you ladies will either swoon regarding Jax’s extremely Alpha personality or be turned off, for me, I found it hot.  Lizzie, although I liked her, she was a little mousy at times, but that happens when you spend most of your life with a boring boyfriend.  She really did find her confidence and sexuality while with Jax, but sometimes her insecurities would come around and would piss me off.  Oh did I mention this ends in a cliffhanger?  Well it does.  Also the book is written in both Jax and Lizzie’s POV.  So I must head on over and read book 2 because what a cliffhanger that was for me to read.
