I thought we’d reached the highest peak. I was wrong.”

Jonas and Sarah’s white-hot passion and unwavering love reach brand new heights in this epic continuation of their scorching hot, hilarious, and enduring love story.

“Our love is the joy of the good, the wonder of the wise, the amazement of the gods. We’re the envy of the gods, baby–the culmination of human possibility.”

*The Culmination is a full-length novel to be read after The Club Trilogy. Note that the trilogy ends as a complete story without cliffhanger. This fourth installment continues the story of Jonas and Sarah (and Josh, Kat and Henn) and also contains a complete story without a cliffhanger.**Readers 18+ only due to extremely graphic (and scorching hot) adult situations and explicit language.

Michelle's Review

Having read The Club Series by Ms. Rowe, I was excited to learn that she wrote another book on Sarah and Jones story. At first, I thought it was going to be a novella, but I was even more surprised it was a full length novel. If you haven’t read The Club Series, I would suggest that you do that first because you may be a little loss reading The Culmination.

What I liked:

The fact that I was getting to read about Sarah and Jones was a big plus. I wanted to know how marry life was going for them, I also wanted to know if all that took place after they took down the Russians regarding The Club if it would be part of this book. The book started off pretty well for me. Sarah is pregnant with twins! Poor Jonas, you know that he suffers from some panic attacks, so he is pretty protective over Sarah, especially him knowing the people they both took down are still behind bars. Jonas still was pretty adorable with his swoon worthy words (at times). Another thing I liked was that Jonas’ twin, Josh and Sarah’s BFF Kate also make an appearance in the book. (I know the other is working on Josh and Kate’s own book), even Henn makes an appearance.

What I didn’t like:

While I was reading, I had thought the book was going to focus on Jonas’ anxiety regarding the people they took down, but instead it focused on how many ways can he get his pregnant wife off. With Sarah being 8 months pregnant, Josh does not want to get too crazy with her. Sarah’s pregnancy hormones are through the roof and wants to get her freak on. Here was my issue with this book, I am all about the smut, I love reading smut, this is not new, right? But, I also need substance to go with the smut. Look, who wouldn’t love a man that would go to such lengths like Jonas did to successfully make his woman happy? We all would love a man like that, but the things he wanted to achieve was way over the top, in my opinion. Particularly, at part in the book where he earns his “red wings”, I was not amused nor aroused, I think I may have put my IPad down for two hours after reading that scene. It was way too graphic, maybe some people like that, but I certainly didn’t. Oh and Josh’s main mission to get Sarah to “quirt”, I don’t know if I really needed to know such detailed description.

As mentioned previously, I really enjoyed The Club Series, but if I am going to be totally honest I was bit disappointed with The Culmination. Remember, this is only my opinion, you as a reader, may like it more than I did. I do want to read Josh and Kate’s story, so I will continue to read Ms. Rowe’s work.
