Justin Haas and Alyse Mosell have been best friends since they were ten years old, and more than a decade later not much has changed. After a bitter break up with her fiancé, Alyse moves in with Justin to mend her life and her broken heart. But, one night of drinking and harmless flirting soon morphs into a passion that’s been simmering under the surface for years. One of them is willing to take a chance on romance; the other is trying to take their heart and run. And it will take nothing short of a Christmas miracle to keep their friendship – and what could be love – from falling apart around them.

Michelle's Review
Justin Haas and Alyse Mosell have been BFFs since they were 10 years old, yeah, you don’t see that a lot in books right?  Alyse just broke off her engagement and has moved in with Justin after the break up.  Justin has always had a big time crush on Alyse, he’s just kept it to himself.  He wasn’t even fond of her ex-fiancé.  After a night out drinking, these two hook up only for Alyse to have regrets the next day.  Stupid, stupid, stupid!  After reading, I get why she regrets it, but Justin is so yummy and BBF material might I add.

This book is a very quick read, just in time for the holidays, but I think this should have been a full length novel as supposed to a novella.  I wanted to learn more about Justin and Alyse and why exactly was Alsye so skittish in marrying her ex-fiancé.  The sexy times that eventually happen was hot, hot, hot!.  Justin will do everything and anything to convince Alyse that they are right for each other.  Justin is very much in love lust with Alyse.

“Open your eyes, baby.  Look at me.”

“Don’t look away.  I want you to…” he gasped against her mouth, feeling himself start to fall.  “…I want you to see what you do to me Lyse…”  Sigh, dreamy, right?

“I love you, Alyse.  So in love…with you,” he whispered against her mouth…

It hurt to love her this much, to feel this complete, but it was an ache he held tight within him and refused to let go.”

I really enjoyed this book, but like I said previously, I really wanted more from the characters, but the sexy times was really hot, although I really wouldn’t consider this book erotica per say, more New Adult, IMHO.
